Massachusetts Tourette, January 2002 (page 2 of 3) On Friday we played two shows: an in-store performance at Newbury Comics-Cambridge, and at The Midway in Jamaica Plains.

I think it was The Operators who made the fancy sign. Shouts out to Matt, the Newbury Comics sound guy who also happened to be very cute.

Okay, I confess we don't actually have pictures of us playing at either of Friday's shows; the staff photographer was hung over from Thursday. So here's a picture of me digging into the merchandise bin.

SOMEONE locked the keys in the car. Our friend Erik Bunker called AAA, and we just made it to The Midway show. Joe Brown loaned us gear to do it. The headlining band Uprise were so patient and even did the sound for us. Thanks again (P.S. Gypsy we love you)!
